We offer our TransMexico Trail routes and personal or group tours through the backcountry of Mexico.
Our routes, either guided or solo, visit Mexico’s most interesting sites ranging from national parks,
beautiful colonial towns and cities, archaeological sites, canyons, volcanoes, and more.
I am the founder of RideMex and the TransMexico Trail. I rode half of the TransAmerica Trail and then
headed south into Mexico where I had been living for 15 years. On my first trans-Mexico trip I traversed
the country on a bicycle, then travelled extensively by car and finally on my motorbike exploring nooks
and crannies all over the republic for a total of nine months on mostly dirt roads. Based on 20 years
of travel and living in Mexico, RideMex routes and tours was born!
Mexico has some of the best adventure riding on the planet due to its normally moderate climate,
extreme topography and many cultures. We hope to hear from you!
