We are developing the Trans-Mexico Trail for adventure motorcyclists and overland travelers, otherwise known as RideMex and OverlandMex. This mostly dirt route, expected to be available in February 2026, will cover approximately 18,400 kilometers and traverse 23 of Mexico's 32 states, connecting breathtaking destinations such as volcanoes, pyramids, canyons, beaches, waterfalls, and picturesque colonial towns. The Outback Exploration (OutX) team will provide GPS tracks in the form of GPX and KML files for both Garmins and Google Maps. OutX will also provide paper maps, and detailed information on each segment of the tour, including points of interest, fuel stations, lodging options, and campsites, to help users plan their adventures. We will also provide a PDF road-map file as well as a PDF satellite-image file of the tracks.
